The process is the whole point of my guitars. The outcome of this process is a guitar that has been painstakingly researched, methodically crafted, and has a purpose and story.
So what does all that really mean?
This whole endeavour is admittedly selfish in its origin as it gives me an outlet I came to learn I very much need in my life. I exclusivly build guitars on "spec", as opposed to custom or comissioned builds. There are plenty of very talented luthiers that are willing and able to build you the dream guitar you have in your head. I am not that guy.
By building guitars on my own dime and at my own pace, I am able to allow the creative process to flow as it needs to for me, and it ensures that quality never comes second.
I obsess about guitars. I dream about guitars. I HAVE to be building guitars, and these guitars allow me to share my emotions and memories with others.
I build these guitars like my life depends on it, because I believe it does.
