Body: Basswood, hand carving done by Niko Rocha of Regis Carvings based in Oahu, HI.
Neck: Vintage Hawaiian Koa, from a stash originally cut in 1986. Matching front/back headstock veneer, with gold mother-of-pearl hibiscus flower inlay on back. Two-way truss rod with spoke-wheel adjustment embedded in 21st fret position of fingerboard.
Fingerboard: Black palm with Vintage Hawaiian Koa binding. Gold mother-of-pearl side-dot markers. Clear resin at end of fretboard (can see cross-grain of black palm wood).

Neck Profile: Soft V, 0.87” thick at 1st Fret, 0.95” thick at 12th Fret.

Bridge: Schroeder TL Straight-Back Top Load (Gold) with Gotoh In-Tune-Compensated brass saddles.

Controls: Single Volume – CTS WD Custom Modified Series 450 9% Tolerance 275 kohm, Solid Shaft, Audio Taper, Ebony with Figured Koa Knob.
Nut: Tusq XL, roller string trees (Gold)
Finish: Polymerized Tung Oil on body and headstock, Tru Oil on neck.
Strings: 9/11/16/26/36/46 Curt Mangan Nickel Wound Coated (#16003)
Setup: 0.008” neck relief (measured at 8th fret with capo on 1st fret and depressing string at 17th fret); 4/64” action at 17th fret (measured with capo on 1st fret); 0.020”-0.014” action between 1st fret and open string (low to high strings).
